A bilingual week has begun at the Scientific Lyceum of the Zhytomyr Polytechnic. Іtudents and teachers will communicate in English during classes.
During the bilingual week the students will review the educational material and improve their knowledge of the English language in order to avoid educational losses.
In addition, an Intellectual Marathon will be held as part of the bilingual week. In conditions close to the completion of the NMT and Olympiads the students will perform tasks of different levels of complexity (reproductive, constructive and creative) in 4 subjects.
The goal of the bilingual week is the desire of the teachers of the Scientific Lyceum of the Zhytomyr Polytechnic to ensure the development of the personality of their students through self-realization, the formation of self-control skills, the assessment of the level of the English language proficiency, the opportunity to show systematicity, creativity and critical thinking and improve the level of English communication.

У Науковому ліцеї Житомирської політехніки розпочався білінгвальний тиждень. Упродовж нього учні та вчителі на заняттях будуть спілкуватися англійською мовою.
Упродовж білінгвального тижня ліцеїсти будуть повторювати навчальний матеріал та покращувати знання з англійської мови, щоб уникнути освітніх втрат.
Крім того, у рамках білінгвального тижня пройде інтелектуальний марафон. В умовах, наближених до складання НМТ та олімпіад, ліцеїсти виконуватимуть завдання різного рівня складності з 4-х предметів– репродуктивного, конструктивного та творчого.
Метою проведення білінгвального тижня є прагнення вчителів Наукового ліцею Житомирської політехніки забезпечити розвиток особистості своїх учнів шляхом самореалізації, формування навичок самоконтролю, оцінки рівня володіння англійською мовою, можливості проявити системність, креативність, критичність мислення та покращити рівень спілкування англійською мовою.
